The inaugural meeting of this course was organized in Rome in 2020, followed by meetings in Porto, Athens and Florence and one online meeting during the Covid pandemic. The course is a fruitful collaboration between the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) and the European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR), bringing together the expertise and knowledge from both subspecialties.
The morning sessions will be dedicated to comprehensive lectures on diagnostic and interventional radiology, while the afternoon will feature interactive workshops presented by highly esteemed experts in the field. Finally, optional hands-on sessions on Saturday will conclude the course.
Mechelen is located on the axis Brussels–Antwerp, about 25 km from each city and is easily accessible by train (only 11 minutes) from Brussels National airport.
The course venue is the congress center (route 130) of the hospital AZ Sint-Maarten - Liersesteenweg 435, 2800 Mechelen.
The city is one of Flanders' prominent cities of historical art. It was the capital of the Burgundian Low Countries (comprising the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg) in the first half of the 16th century under Archduchess Margaret of Austria.
Due to its central connection, it is very easy to extend your stay in Mechelen with a visit to the other major art cities in Belgium Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, Brussels and Leuven.

- Cancellations received before or on 15th January 2026 – 100% refund
- Cancellations received after 15th January and before or on 1th March 2026 – 90% refund
- Cancellations received after 1th March 2026 – no refund

Accreditation
The course will be accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for a maximum of 30 European CME credits (ECMEC®s) (pending).
